India Today
India vs England: Speaking to Sports Today, Deep Dasgupta said Bhuvneshwar Kumar's return to form is a big positive for India. The 31-year-old pacer, who has returned from multiple injury setbacks, has played a decisive role in the white-ball series against England.
Former India wicketkeeper Deep Dasgupta said there is no doubt that Bhuvneshwar Kumar is one of the best bowlers in white-ball cricket and his return to form is a huge positive for India in the lead up to the T20 World Cup. Deep Dasgupta, speaking to Sports Today on Wednesday, said not a lot is spoken about Bhuvneshwar as it's taken for granted that the senior pacer would deliver. The former cricketer-turned analyst and commentator pointed out that Bhuvneshwar back to swinging the ball like he used to before his injury setbacks is a welcome sign. Bhuvneshwar Kumar had been pegged back by multiple injury concerns in the recent past. He missed a major part of IPL 2020 after picking up a thigh injury while playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Bhuvneshwar was not part of the Australia tour that followed the IPL. At the 2019 World Cup, Bhuvneshwar missed a couple of matches due to hamstring issues and missed home series against Bangladesh and South Africa later in the year due to side strain.More Related News
