Bhubaneswar: Govt official throws bag full of cash on neighbour's terrace to escape raid, arrested

Vigilance officers in Odisha's Bhubaneswar seized cash and property worth Rs 15 crore from a government official. The entire seizure was 1021% of the accused and his family's income. 

A government officer threw a bag full of cash on a neighbour's terrace in a bid to escape a raid by Odisha's vigilance department. The incident took place on Tuesday morning and property worth Rs 14.87 crore was also seized.

The raid, which began on Tuesday morning, continued for more than 36 hours.
