Bharat Bandh for 2 days, exams postponed

With the two-day Bharat Bandh being carried out on March 28 and 29, exams have been postponed by certain universities.
The two-day Bharat Bandh or nationwide strike called jointly by the central trade unions and bank employees' forum against the central government’s policies affecting people, farmers and workers has led to exams being postponed at Utkal University and Rama Devi Women's University in Bhubaneswar.
Utkal University on Sunday announced the decision to postpone the exams which were supposed to be held on Monday and Tuesday and said that the fresh exam dates would be announced later. The university VC had approved of this decision.
The exam controller at Rama Devi Women's University Exam Controller also announced the decision to postponed all exams scheduled for March 28 and 29 on Sunday. The exams which have been postponed will be conducted on a later date.
The Bharat Bandh is also supported by the All India Bank Employees Association. It is likely to hit several sectors including banking and transport.
