BGMI Lite launch soon? Krafton's poll asks players why they want PUBG Mobile Lite back

BGMI Lite seems possible after Krafton asked its Discord channel followers why they wanted that version.

Battlegrounds Mobile India arrived earlier this year to fill the void left by the ban on PUBG Mobile last year. But alongside PUBG Mobile, PUBG Mobile Lite, which was the toned-down version of the battle royale meant for low-end phones, was also banned. To the dismay of players of PUBG Mobile Lite, Krafton refused to announce the “lite” version of Battlegrounds Mobile India, or BGMI Lite back then. However, the demand has only been growing ever since and now Krafton may have teased plans for BGMI Lite.

A new poll by the official Discord channel of Battlegrounds Mobile India has hinted at a possibility of Battlegrounds Mobile India Lite. The channel moderators put up a question: “Why do you need (want) BGMI LITE version?” in the poll. It also has some options, asking if some people cannot play BGMI on a low-end phone, if some players want to see high-quality graphics, frame rates, and performance in the BGMI Lite, if players spent money on PUBG Mobile Lite and have been waiting to utilise that through a transfer, and if people like maps and skins in the BGMI Lite version.
