Beware of fake page showing incorrect news from The Peninsula

Doha: Some scammers are using The Peninsula logo and design and are spreading fake news. Many readers have been alerting us of the same and we request everyone to check the URL before clicking on links.
All our news will be either from https://thepeninsulaqatar.com/ or https://thepeninsula.qa . These spammers use designs and logos of well-known websites to dupe readers into clicking on their link. The one doing the rounds shows our menu bar and logo and also Al Jazeera logo inside the report to make it look legitimate. We want to alert our readers that we have not published any report like this and this is 100 percent spam and please don’t click or share the same.
