Bette Midler slammed for ‘obtuse' tweet on baby formula shortage telling mothers, 'TRY BREASTFEEDING'
Fox News
Actress Bette Midler told her Twitter followers on Thursday that all they needed to do to deal with the baby formula shortage is 'try breastfeeding.'
Midler posted her Twitter fumble on Thursday evening, in response to MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle’s tweet on how "baby formula shortage reveals an amazing secret oligopoly" of three companies owning "90%" of the baby formula market.
The actress responded to the tweet, writing, "TRY BREASTFEEEDING! It’s free and available on demand," as if nobody had thought of that.
