A woman allegedly thrashed her nine-year-old daughter and burnt her right hand with a candle for going to a neighbour's house to play. The incident took place in Bengaluru in the third week of June. However, it only came to light on July 5 when the minor was taken to a hospital in the city. As per the police, the girl fell down while playing on Monday. She got injured on her right hand and her 35-year-old mother then rushed her to a hospital in Hebbal area of Bengaluru. On inspection, the doctors spotted burn marks on her injured hand.
