Bengaluru losing 1 million litres of water per day due to Cauvery pipeline leakage

The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) has decided to go in for a major water shutdown on Wednesday and Thursday in order to stop a six-month-old leakage in one of their Cauvery pipelines.

For six long months, water has been leaking from the main transmission water pipeline originating from Thorekadanahalli (TK Halli) to the city.
