The 45-year-old was stabbed at least 17 times after she distributed free breakfast among the poor outside her office. Rekha, a two-time corporator and resident of the Chalavadipalya (Cottonpet) ward in Bengaluru, died on her way to the hospital. She was the second wife of rowdy-sheeter Kadiresh, who was killed in February 2018.
