Bengaluru crosses 1 crore-mark in giving Covid-19 vaccine doses: Civic body chief

The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) chief congratulated all the civic body officials, health officers, staff, and frontline warriors as the city crossed 1 crore dose-mark for Covid-19 vaccines. The BBMP chief commissioner said the civic body would continue to work together and fight the Covid-19.
As of Sunday, more than one crore doses of the coronavirus vaccine have been administered in Bengaluru, according to Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) Chief Commissioner Gaurav Gupta .Taking to Twitter, he announced, ‘As of today, BBMP has administered a total of 1,00,37,956 doses in B'luru. More than 1 cr doses only means that we will continue to vaccinate every eligible adult! We believe Covid19 can be completely kept at bay when all of us are fully vaccinated. Towards a stronger Bengaluru! (sic)’The Commissioner went on to congratulate all the BBMP officials, health officers, staff, and frontline warriors who have been endlessly working to provide vaccine for all and added that they will continue to work together and fight the Covid19 virus.
