With Bengaluru reporting 400 to 500 coronavirus cases per day, the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has now mandated triaging of all Covid-19 cases, with detailed clinical assessment. Triage of patients involves looking for signs of serious illness or injury and helps in assessing severity of their condition. As per the expert committee of the BBMP, early physical triage will help in reducing morbidity and mortality. In order to facilitate early triage, physical triage centres at assembly constituency level and mobile triage units (MTU) at PHC or ward level have been set up.More Related News
