Bengaluru: ID proof not mandatory for free food at Indira Canteens

Bengaluru’s civic body has said that ID proof is not mandatory to obtain free food packets at Indira Canteens from May 12.
The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) Chief Commissioner Shri Gaurav Gupta has said that identification proof is not mandatory to obtain the free food packets being distributed at Indira Canteens in Bengaluru from May 12. Earlier, the BBMP order stated that the migrant workers and labourers have to provide identification proof to the suppliers in order to obtain the food packets that will be distributed free of cost till Covid-19 lockdown ends in the city on May 24.More Related News
