Bengal to start teachers' appointment interviews for upper primary schools from next week

The West Bengal School Service Commission will begin the interview process for the appointment of teachers in upper primary schools from next week.

On Saturday, the West Bengal School Service Commission announced that the interviews for the appointment of teachers for upper primary schools will begin next week. WBCSSC chairman, Subhasankar Sarkar, told the reporters that the interview process would be completed in 12 weeks. WBSSC made the announcement after the Calcutta High Court on Friday vacated an interim stay on the selection process for the appointment of around 14,500 teachers for upper primary schools in the state. Those who are not satisfied with the interviewees can approach the commission to appeal for review.
