A man was killed in a bomb attack in the North 24 Paraganas district of West Bengal on Sunday.
A 30-year-old man was killed in a bomb attack at Bhatpara in the North 24 Paraganas district of West Bengal on Sunday. The family said the attackers abused the victim, beat him up and threw a bomb to kill him. The deceased was identified as Jayprakash Yadav, who worked at a local jute mill. His wife Sangita said Jayprakash Yadav was not a political activist, but the attackers accused him of “being in the BJP and not the TMC”. Sangita said, “Two men came and started abusing him [Jayprakash Yadav] on Sunday. They threatened him for being in the BJP and not the TMC. But he was not associated with any political party. The attackers said that they had been sent to kill him. Then they hurled the bomb and ran away.”More Related News
