Bengal govt to give minimum Rs 4,000 to each farmer, 60 lakh to benefit, says CM Mamata Banerjee

Mamata Banerjee has announced that the Bengal govt has approved a proposal to extend financial benefits to farmers with a transfer of minimum Rs 4,000 to each farmer in the state.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday announced that the state cabinet has approved a proposal to extend financial benefits to farmers with a transfer of minimum Rs 4,000 to each farmer in the state. The ‘Notun Krishak Bondhu Scheme’ is expected to benefit 60 lakh farmers in Bengal, announced Mamata Banerjee. She said that a suggestion made at the cabinet has been approved by the government. “Farmers will get a minimum of Rs 4,000 under the government scheme. For 1 acre land, they will get Rs 10,000. Majdoors and bargadas will also get Rs 4,000, a hike from the previous Rs 2,000,” said CM Mamata Banerjee.More Related News
