Chaos erupted in the Bengal Assembly on Friday afternoon during governor Jagdeep Dhankhar's speech, with opposition BJP MLAs holding up placards and shouting protests. Mr Dhankhar was forced to halt his speech just five minutes after starting because of the commotion, and left the building. Speaker Biman Banerjee escorted Mr Dhankhar to his vehicle.
