West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday slammed PM Modi over the revised Covid-19 vaccine policy and also took a dig at him for taking back control of the Covid-19 vaccine procurement process.
Launching a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the revised Covid-19 vaccine policy, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday called it a “dirty drive against the state government”. PM Modi, in a televised address on Monday, announced a revised policy for Covid-19 vaccination drive. PM Modi said the central government would now procure 75 per cent of all Covid-19 vaccines and allocate them to the states free of cost. The states were permitted to procure 25 per cent of the vaccines under the previous policy announced in April and implemented from May 1. The rest 25 per cent of Covid-19 would be procured by private hospitals for those who want to get inoculated there.More Related News
