West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has moved the Supreme Court challenging the Calcutta High Court's denial for filing of affidavits in the Narada sting tape case.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has moved the Supreme Court challenging the Calcutta High Court's denial for filing of affidavits by her and state Law Minister Moloy Ghatak on their role on the day of the arrest of three Trinamool Congress leader and a former TMC leader on May 17 by the CBI in connection with the Narada sting tape case. When CBI had arrested 3 heavyweight leaders of TMC, Firhad Hakim, Subrato Mukherjee, Madan Mitra and former TMC leader Sovon Chatterjee, Mamata Banerjee had visited Nizam Palace, which is the CBI office in Kolkata. The CBI had later made her and Moloy Ghatak, a party to the case.More Related News
