The police in West Bengal have arrested a group of four people who was allegedly involved in an international firearms smuggling racket. The group was arrested following a raid in Madarihat on Wednesday. Police say they have seized an automatic firearm and cartridge from the accused. The four accused, including mastermind of the group Sanjay Saha, have been arrested for possessing firearms. Police have claimed that the group was involved in smuggling firearms through the Indo-Bhutan border for a long time. They added that the accused were also involved in robbery, snatching and theft.More Related News
