Benedict Cumberbatch will house a Ukrainian family at his own house amid the ongoing war with Russia. The Hollywood actor has also been making headlines for his next film, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Hollywood actor Benedict Cumberbatch is all set to house a Ukrainian family who fled from the European country amid the hostile Russian invasion. The actor confirmed the same and said that the family have made it out of Ukraine and are undergoing medical tests. Benedict is actively involved in helping Ukrainian refugees amid the ongoing war.
As the Ukraine vs Russia war continues to wreak havoc with every passing day, Hollywood actor Benedict Cumberbatch is playing a pivotal role in helping Ukrainian refugees arriving in the UK. Not just this, the Hollywood star will also house a Ukrainian family fleeing to the UK amid the ongoing war. The Hollywood star confirmed the same to Sky News and shared, “They’ve made it out of Ukraine; I’m monitoring their progress every day.”
The actor further added, “Sadly, they are undergoing some medical treatment. To say anything more about that would be invasion of their privacy, and too much about when they’re coming and how that’s being managed would invade mine. I want to give them some stability after the turmoil that they’ve experienced, and that’s within my home.”
Benedict Cumberbatch will next be seen in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The film will release in theatres in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam languages on May 6, 2022. Advance tickets booking has already started and the film has already minted Rs 10 crore ever since advance booking opened in India.
