Ben Affleck has been voted as the best Batman in a survey. The actor beat former Batman, Michael Keaton.
Ben Affleck won hearts as Batman in popular DC superhero films such as Batman V Superman, amid others. Sadly, the actor is done with superhero movies. The recently released Batman, starring Robert Pattinson in the lead, is receiving great reviews from the audience and critics alike. But what looks like it, the audience still misses one of the most popular Batmans in the history of the superhero franchise, Ben Affleck.
Batman is back in action with the recently released film starring Robert Pattinson. Over the years, many Hollywood actors have portrayed the very popular Bruce Wayne, aka, Batman. Ben Affleck, who took on the baton for Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, is still remembered by his fans. During a recent survey by OnePoll, Ben topped the list as the best Batman (31%). He barely managed to beat Michael Keaton, who received a staggering 30% in the survey. George Clooney stood at 23% while 21% voted in favour of Will Arnett.
The interesting fact is, audiences ranging between the ages of 18-25 and 26-41 voted in favour of Ben, while people belonging to the age group of 42-55 felt Michael did justice to the role.
Sad but true. In an interview with Herald Sun, Ben Affleck revealed that he is done playing Batman. He said, “I won’t be playing Batman much longer.” Further adding, “I started drinking too much around the time of Justice League, and it's a hard thing to confront and face and deal with.” He also shared, “I hope they maintain the integrity of what we did because I thought it was great and really interesting different, but not in a way that is incongruent with the character.”
