Thalapathy Vijay's fans are eagerly waiting to see a glimpse of Beast. So far, director Nelson and the team of Beast have been tight-lipped about the film.

Before the release of Beast trailer, here are seven things to know about the Thalapathy Vijay and Pooja Hegde-starrer.

1. According to Nelson Dilipkumar's latest interview, Thalapathy Vijay essays the role of Veera Raghavan in Beast. He will be seen as a RAW agent in the actioner.

2. Nelson said that Beast will not be like his previous films, Kolamaavu Kokila and Doctor. He promised that the film will be high on action and comedy.

3. Beast will have three songs. While two songs - Arabic Kuthu and Jolly O Gymkhana - have released, the third song is a part of the story.

4. Nelson Dilipkumar revealed that he wouldn't have done Beast with any other actor other than Thalapathy Vijay.

5. Nelson was looking for a 'new' face to play the villain. That's how he got director Selvaraghavan on board. The makers have not given any slightest hint of his character.
