BCCI set to host T20 World Cup in UAE, will inform ICC on June 28

BCCI will inform the ICC today of its decision to host the T20 World Cup in the UAE due to the current Covid-19 situation in India. The dates for the tournament will remain unchanged - the main leg of the tournament will start from October 24 and the final will be played around mid-November.
The T20 World Cup scheduled to be held in India later this year, is set to be held in the United Arab Emirates. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will inform the International Cricket Council (ICC) that the tournament will be moved to UAE because of the Covid-19 situation in India. However, the ICC will not finalise the schedule for the T20 World Cup before July.More Related News
