The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday released a statement, mourning the death of former cricketer Yashpal Sharma. The 1983 World Cup-winner died at the age of 66 after suffering a cardiac arrest. Yashpal Sharma is survived by his wife, two daughters and a son. BCCI mourns the sad demise of Shri Yashpal Sharma Yashpal represented India in 37 ODIs and 42 Tests and was a crucial part of the Indian middle-order from 1979-83.
