Thunder looked like they were cruising to the target during Sam Billings and Mathew Gilkes' 89-run partnership for the third wicket. Billings scored 43 off 31 while Gilkes scored 56 off 49 and the partnership was broken when the former fell to Qais Ahmad in the 15th over.
