Battle of exes: BJP, JDU spar over full-forms of party names in Bihar

The BJP-JDU row in Bihar escalated as party leaders of the two parties started renaming the abbreviated form of their rival party's name.
The war of words between the Janata Dal United JD(U) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Bihar escalated with leaders of both the parties renaming the abbreviated form of their rival party's name.
JDU parliamentary board chairman Upendra Kushwaha on Friday hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said the corruption cases of several political leaders were closed once they joined the BJP.

Taking to Twitter, Kushwaha cited the example of Narayan Rane who was allegedly involved in the Adarsh housing society scam in Maharashtra, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma who was allegedly involved in the PWD scam and Bengal’s Mukul Roy who was allegedly involved in the Saradha chit fund scam, among others.
