Bangladesh vs Pakistan: After Hasan Ali picked up a 5-wicket haul to help restrict Bangladesh to 330, openers Abid Ali and Abdullah Shafique stitched an unbeaten 145-run stand to give the visitors a slender ege at the end of the second day's play in the first Test in Chattogram.

Pakistan came up with a fine fightback on Day 2 of their first Test against Bangladesh in Chattogram to wrestle back control from hosts. Led by a solid 93 not out from Abid Ali, Pakistan went to Stumps on 145/0, trailing Bangladesh's first innings total by just 185 runs in what is turning out to be an enthralling contest.

Abid Ali hit 2 sixes and 9 boundaries for his 93 not out while his fellow opener Abdullah Shafique was unbeaten on 52 not out.
