SEBI noted, based on the emails, that Chitra Ramkrishna met the Himalayan yogi "several times in 2015".
Chitra Ramkrishna, the former head of the country's largest stock exchange, was questioned by the CBI at her Mumbai home for over 12 hours today over a market manipulation case.
The 59-year-old former CEO and Managing Director of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) is also under investigation for allegedly sharing confidential information with a "yogi" in the Himalayas, who also influenced her decisions.
A Securities Exchange Board of India (SEBI) report alleges that Ms Ramkrishna shared classified information including the financial and business plans of the NSE, dividend scenario, financial results with the yogi.
The report includes Ms Ramkrishna's response to SEBI on questions on her bizarre dependence on the spiritual guru and her email exchanges with an "unknown person", believed to be him.
