Bachchhan Paandey box office collection Day 12: Akshay Kumar-starrer fails to make a mark

Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon-starrer Bachchhan Paandey is not doing great at the box office. The film is facing stiff competition from RRR and The Kashmir Files. Bachchhan Paandey follows an aspiring filmmaker (Kriti) trying to make a film on a gangster (Akshay).

Bachchhan Paandey opened to mixed reviews. The film managed to collect only Rs 50 crore during the first week. On the 12th day, the collections were similar to the previous day and the film earned Rs 1 crore. The film's collection has not been impressive since the first day.

Bachchhan Paandey is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and written by Nischay Kuttanda and director Farhad Samji. Besides Akshay, Jacqueline Fernandez and Kriti Sanon, the film also features Arshad Warsi, Pankaj Tripathi, Prateik Babbar, Abhimanyu Singh, Snehal Daabbi and Saharsh Kumar Shukla. Bachchhan Paandey was earlier set to premiere on December 25, 2020. However, the release date was pushed and Farhad Samji’s directorial will now release theatrically on March 18, 2022. The story revolves around an aspiring director (Kriti) who wants to make a film on a deadly gangster (Akshay).
