Babul Supriyo resigns as BJP MP, urges Suvendu Adhikari's father and brother to follow suit

After formally resigning as a Lok Sabha MP on Tuesday, Babul Supriyo urged Suvendu Adhikari's brother and father to do the same, as they are not TMC leaders anymore.

Former BJP leader Babul Supriyo formally resigned as an MP on Tuesday, a month after he quit the party to join the Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress (TMC).

Babul Supriyo also thanked the BJP leadership for the confidence they had shown in him.
