Babar Azam says dew hampered Pakistan bowlers after losing 6th T20I to England– They found it tough to grip the ball

PAK vs ENG, 6th T20I: England beat Pakistan by eight wickets on Friday at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore to make it 3-3 in the ongoing seven-match T20I series.
Pakistan skipper Babar Azam said that dew played a major part in the sixth T20I of the ongoing seven-match series. On Friday, September 30, England beat the Men in Green by eight wickets at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore and made it 3-3 in the white-ball series.
The Three Lions made a mockery of the target set by the home team as they chased down 170 with as many as 33 balls to spare. Opening batter Phil Salt’s third-fastest T20I half-century by an English batter pushed Pakistan on the backfoot right from the word go.
Salt and Alex Hales stitched together a 55-run stand for the opening wicket off 3.5 overs and helped England seize the initiative in their run-chase. Later, England would go on to score 82 runs in the powerplay and brought the required run rate down to almost a run-a-ball.
Babar credited the English batters and said that the onslaught in the first six overs made all the difference in the match.
“The first six overs made the difference, the way they utilised them. The ball became wet because of dew and the spinners and fast bowlers found it tough to grip it. In the second innings, the ball also came on nicely to the bat when there was dew. The ball became soapy and it became tough for bowlers. But credit should go to Salt and Hales for giving England momentum with a fast start,” Babar said in a video, uploaded on Pakistan Cricket’s Twitter handle.
However, despite the loss, Babar talked about staying confident and not letting an odd defeat take away the momentum from Pakistan.
