The two stars are in talks to play lead roles in director Maruthi's Raja Deluxe. While Prabhas signed the agreement, Anushka Shetty is likely to hop onboard soon. Prabhas and Anushka Shetty have been best friends for years. Often, they have been linked and rumours about their wedding surface every now and then. However, Prabhas and Anushka have maintained that they are not in a relationship.
After Baahubali: The Conclusion, it looks like Prabhas and Anushka Shetty might team up for a film. The Saaho star has signed a comedy film titled Raja Deluxe with director Maruthi. Reportedly, he suggested that Anushka Shetty would be a perfect fit for the female lead.
Following Prabhas's suggestion, the makers of Raja Deluxe initiated talks with Anushka Shetty. She hasn't signed on the dotted lines yet. Soon, an announcement regarding the same is expected to be out.
Earlier, in an interview, Anushka Shetty called Prabhas her 3 am friend. The two have worked together in a handful of films, such as Billa, Mirchi, Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion.
On the work front, director Maruthi is working on the post-production of Gopichand and Raashii Khanna's Pakka Commercial. Once he wraps up the project, he will get on Raja Deluxe. More details about Prabhas's Raja Deluxe will be out in the coming weeks.
