Ayushmann Khurrana wraps up London schedule of An Action Hero, shares BTS video

Ayushmann Khurrana took to Instagram to share a behind-the-scene video and announced the wrap of London shoot schedule of An Action Hero. The film is directed by Aanand L Rai.

Ayushmann Khurrana has wrapped up the London shoot schedule of his upcoming film, An Action Hero. Directed by Aanand L Rai, the movie is touted to be a slick actioner with an offbeat satirical sense of humour. An Action Hero is also produced by Krishan Kumar and also stars Jaideep Ahlawat.

Ayushmann Khurrana announced the wrap of An Action Hero’s London schedule with a behind-the-scene video. It had photos and videos from the shoot and his time in the city in his free time. Billed as an ‘out-of-the-box entertainer’, An Action Hero is slated to release in 2022, but no release date has been confirmed yet.

Sharing the video, Ayushmann wrote, “#AnActionHero #LondonWrap (sic).”

Talking about the film, Ayushmann said, "I absolutely loved the script of Action Hero instantly. It’s zany, it’s fresh, it’s disruptive and it has all the trappings of cinema that I have come to be known for."

Besides An Action Hero, Ayushmann Khurrana will be seen in Anek. Directed by Anubhav Sinha, the socio-political thriller will release on May 13. Ayushmann had said that Anek will "usher in a different language of cinema." The actor also has Doctor G with Rakul Preet Singh lined up. The campus comedy drama is directed by Anubhuti Kashyap.
