Ayushmann Khurrana says Doctor G director Anubhuti Kashyap is a restless storyteller

Ayushmann Khurrana, who will soon be seen in Anubhuti Kashyap's Doctor G, feels the Hindi film industry needs more disruption and new filmmakers can bring that.

If over the years, Ayushmann Khurrana has emerged as one of the most bankable actors in Bollywood, credit goes to his process of role selection. But Ayushmann feels none of that would have been possible if it wasn't for the creative minds he collaborated with, many of whom have been debutant or new filmmakers. Ayushmann, who is reuniting with his Article 15 director Anubhav Sinha, will soon be seen in Doctor G, to be helmed by Anubhuti Kashyap, a first-time director. And Ayushmann feels she is a 'restless storyteller'. Speaking about collaborating with debutant director Anubhuti Kashyap, Ayushmann says, “I’m collaborating with a first time director, Anubhuti Kashyap, for Doctor G and I can’t wait to start working with her. She is a restless story-teller who has an extraordinary vision with this film and I think we will be able to present something unique, engaging and immensely entertaining for audiences.”
