Rumours of Ayushmann Khurrana replacing Kartik Aaryan are baseless. Director Aanand L Rai confirmed the same in his latest statement.

Director Aanand L Rai and Kartik Aaryan have been in the news circle from the past couple of days. Rumours of Kartik Aaryan being ousted from Aanand L Rai's film and being replaced by Ayushmann Khurrana were making the rounds on social media. But now, the director has made all clarifications. Aanand L Rai in a statement to ETimes said that there was no film signed by Kartik and that all the rumours are totally baseless. It was speculated that the director had planned the Hindi remake of the Tamil film, Kalayana Samayal Saadam, with the actor. But now, the director has issued a clarification on the same.
