Ayodhya land deal row: Ram temple Trust bought another piece of land for Rs 8 crore on same day, govt records show

While the controversy over the purchase of 1.208 hectares of land by the Ram temple Trust is still brewing, government records show that the Trust bought another piece of land of almost the same area for Rs 8 crore directly from the owners on the same day.
Amid the ongoing Ayodhya land purchase controversy wherein SP and AAP leaders claimed that two real estate dealers purchased 1.208 hectares of land in Ayodhya for Rs 2 crore on March 18 and the same was sold to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust for Rs 18 crore within 10 minutes, official records show that the Trust purchased another piece of land on the same day for Rs 8 crore. This land parcel also belonged to Harish Pathak and his wife Kusum Pathak, who sold their land for Rs 2 crore to two real estate dealers on March 18. The Ram Mandir Trust bought this 1.037-hectare land parcel, identified by Gata Number 242, directly from Harish and Kusum Pathak on March 18 for Rs 8 crore. The Trust on May 11, gave 695.678 square metres of this land to Yashoda Nandan Tripathi and Kaushal Kishore Tripathi of Kaushalya Bhawan for free, official records show.More Related News
