Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in Qatar issued guidelines for worshippers to consider around mosques.

In a post shared on its social handles, the Ministry stressed the following:

1- Dressing up appropriately when attending prayers at the mosque, with some examples of inappropriate dress being “outfits meant for sleep” and “dirty outfits.”

2- Maintaining personal hygiene.         

3- Placing footwear in its designated keeping place so that it does not obstruct the mosque entry to worshippers, especially senior worshippers.
