Auto-rickshaw drivers launch their own app rivaling corporates in TN's Trichy

To compete with corporates, auto-rickshaw drivers in Trichy, Tamil Nadu, launched their own 'Sudeshi app' on Sunday.

Nearly 600 auto-rickshaw drivers in Tamil Nadu's Trichy have come together and launched an app after suffering significantly after paying hefty amount of money to corporate vehicle aggregators. The auto-rickshaw drivers claim that they had to pay a commission of 35 to 40 per cent to corporate vehicle aggregators and had nothing left in their pockets to subsist.
