Mumbai Indians Chris Lynn texted Cricket Australia asking them if they can arrange a charter flight for the players to return home after the end of IPL 2021.
Mumbai Indians opener Chris Lynn has requested Cricket Australia to make arrangement for his countrymen plying their trade in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 to get them back home on a private plane immediately after the tournament ends as the Covid-19 pandemic continues to wreak havoc here. CA contacted the Australian players in India, inquiring about their health and travel plans after the IPL 2021 ends on May 30. Lynn, who is playing in his 2nd season for MI, said he responded by requesting the Australian cricket board to help arrange a flight for the players. The Australian government announced on Tuesday that it will be suspending flights from India till May 15. Australia will also unveil measures including sending medical supplies to help India fight the Covid-19 wave.More Related News
