Attorney General KK Venugopal, 89, gets another one-year extension

Attorney General KK Venugopal has received a one-year extension, government sources said on Monday. Earlier, Venugopal had received an extension in 2020 after his three-year tenure came to an end.
The Centre on Monday extended the tenure of Attorney General KK Venugopal by one more year till June 30, 2022. KK Venugopal, 89, was appointed the Attorney General on July 1, 2017 for a three-year term following the decision of Mukul Rohatgi to step down as the top law officer.More Related News
