Disney+Hotstar release Atrangi Re has become the most watched film on release day. It has beat Laxmii and Hungama 2.

Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush-starrer Atrangi Re released on December 24. Directed by Aanand L Rai, the film was loved by one and all. In fact, Atrangi Re delivered the biggest opening day on Disney+ Hotstar, shattering all records. It even managed to beat big films like Hungama 2 and Laxmii. In Atrangi Re, Sara Ali Khan is forcefully married to Dhanush at the beginning. Akshay Kumar gets to play a larger-than-life character and has an entry scene that impressed the audience. No wonder it's a hit.
