Atletico Madrid held to 2-2 draw by lowly Levante after conceding late penalty, Diego Simeone sent off

The Spanish champions remain sixth, five points behind leaders Real Sociedad after a handball from Renan Lodi led to Levante being awarded a penalty, which was converted by Enis Bardhi, in the 90th minute.

Atletico Madrid conceded a last-minute penalty and had coach Diego Simeone sent off as they were held to a 2-2 draw by struggling Levante in La Liga on Thursday.

Simeone's men appeared on course to grab all three points after going 2-1 ahead following substitute Matheus Cunha's stunning 76th minute strike.
