At least 16 deaths reported in 4 states during Ganesh idol immersions

During the immersion of Ganesh idols, eight deaths were reported in Madhya Pradesh in separate incidents, while five people died in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday, Two people in Rajasthan and one person in Maharashtra also died.

At least 16 people died in four states of the country on Sunday during Ganesh idol immersions. Eight people died in separate incidents in Madhya Pradesh, while another five reportedly died in Uttar Pradesh in addition to two deaths in Rajasthan and one in Maharashtra on the final day of the Ganesh Chaturthi festival.
