Troops of Assam Rifles have recovered weapons including three AK-56 rifles in Karbi Anglong district.

Security forces have seized a huge cache of arms and ammunition including three AK series rifles and apprehended five persons in Assam’s Karbi Anglong district.

Based on information about the movement of suspected individuals with weapons along the Assam-Nagaland border, troops of Assam Rifles and Karbi Anglong district police launched a search operation at the Bokajan area along the inter-state border on Friday.
