Assam schools to reopen for physical classes: Classes 1 to 8 and Class 11 to start from Oct 19, Class 9 from Oct 1

Assam schools are reopening for physical classes soon. While Classes 1 to 8 and Class 11 will start from October 19, Class 9 will begin from October 1.

In view of improvement of the Covid-19 situation in the state, the Assam government on Tuesday has ordered to resume physical classes for Classes 1 to 8 and Class 11 from October 19.

The physical classes of Class 9, all degree and post graduate classes, all classes in technical institutions/universities, BEd colleges -- both government and private -- in the state will be resumed from October 1.
