Assam, Meghalaya CMs hold discussions over border dispute

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and his Meghalaya counterpart Conrad Sangma held discussions in Shillong to resolve the border dispute between both states in a phased manner.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma held discussions with his Meghalaya counterpart Conrad Sangma in Shillong over the longstanding inter-state border dispute between both states. During the discussion held at Yojana Bhawan, the Meghalaya Secretariat, on Friday evening, the Meghalaya government claimed 12 disputed places belonging to the state. Meanwhile, the Assam government also justified with documents, saying those places belong to Assam.More Related News
