Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday said that the state government will enhance social security network of tea garden population. The chief minister talked about the schemes and reforms that will be put in place to achieve holistic development of the tea garden population.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday said that the state government is gearing up to enhance social security network of tea garden population and plans are afoot to gradually take over the existing health and educational institutions of the tea estates to ensure holistic development of the tea garden population. Launching Assam Tea Industries Special Incentive Scheme (ATISIS), 2020 in a programme held at Assam Administrative Staff College in Guwahati, the Assam chief minister said that the scheme is launched to give a renewed push to production of orthodox tea to establish a balance between orthodox and CTC (crush, tear, curl) tea production.More Related News
