
Assam govt shuts down schools up to Class 8 where Covid-19 cases cross 100 mark

The schools in Assam will remain shut for Classes 6 to 8 in districts where Covid-19 cases have exceeded the 100 mark, said the government.
The government of Assam ordered all the schools to close down for the students of classes 6 to 8 if the number of active Covid-19 cases is more than 100 in the district. Online classes to be made available.Stay Be pic.twitter.com/Af9PXL9DXl Earlier, the state government had also made the announcement that schools will remain closed for students up to Class 5 in districts where the Covid-19 cases have crossed the 100 mark. The schools in these districts are to remain closed till May 8. In Assam, several districts excluding Chirang, Biswanath, Baska, Majuli, Dima Hasao, Charaideo, Hailakandi, South Salmara, and West Karbi Anglong have already crossed the 100 mark and the schools in those areas have been shut down.More Related News
