A folk singer from Assam’s Cachar district has won the hearts of many people following his initiative of singing songs to boost the mental health of Covid-19 infected patients. 33-year-old Bikramjit Kar, popularly known as Baulia, is a folk singer hailing from Malugram in Silchar. He reached out to the Covid-19 infected patients to help them relax over the phone through his songs during the pandemic.
