Assam CID arrested 22 teachers who got government jobs in the state’s Bodoland Territorial Region area with forged and fabricated Teachers Eligibility Test certificates.
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of Assam Police arrested 22 teachers who got government jobs in the state’s Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) area with forged and fabricated Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) certificates.
A case has been registered under sections 120(B) R/W 420, 47, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code against 36 teachers who allegedly secured appointments with fake TET certificates; 22 of these teachers have been arrested so far.
